I have visited 2 other dealers, one in Plano and the other in Dallas. Both experiences were bad. The salesmen used "old school shady" selling straegies. One told me that he had the exact car that I desired in stock. Within 1 hour of driving from Denton to Plano, he informed me that he had just sold the car. Possible? Yes, but not probable because he immediately showed me his inventory. I told him that I would visit the dealership in Dallas. He informed me that I did not want to buy a car from the Dallas dealership, Plano's CPO cars were better. I had read about BMW's certification process and I knew that he was lying. The BMW dealership in Dallas offered me $2500 trade-in initially. When I told the salesman what you offered, the figure almost "tripled!" Bad move. I totally lost respect and confidence in this dealership. I presented as a single woman and they felt that they could take advantage of the me. They underestimated me. I am a professional who is very thorough in my research prior to making a major purchase. In response to the general manager's email on my experience at this dealership [Moritz], I told him that I would eventually purchase my car from Moritz where business transactions were handled with integrity. Although Leo and I could not initially agree on a deal, I felt that he was genuine and honest. I felt that I could trust him. He kept in contact with me and to my suprise I was finally able to get a great deal. He is a great example of how a salesman should handle his customers.
